Folk Hero cocktail
At Last But One Drinks, we run an occasional pop-up bar-cum-food place called the House of Hospitality. We have a few house drinks. One of them is the Folk Hero cocktail that Gareth Lewis-Jones made when a friend brought in the last third of a bottle of Champagne and a need for something different.
The Folk Hero is a take on a Kir Royal but shorter and made with crème de mûres instead of crème de cassis. Yes, it's a play on words [faux Kir, etc.. . .]. No, we're not sorry.
Ingredients
15 ml crème de mûres
90 ml brut Champagne
Method
Pour the crème de mûres into a coupette.
Top up with the Champagne.
